Refund policy

Right of Withdrawal for Consumers 
(Consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly not attributable to their commercial or independent professional activity.)

Cancellation Policy

Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 100 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 100 days from the day,

- on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods, provided that you have ordered one or more goods as part of a single order and these are delivered as a whole.;

- on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the last item, provided that you have ordered multiple items as part of a single order and these are delivered separately;

- on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the last partial shipment or the last item, provided that you have ordered a product that is delivered in multiple partial shipments or pieces;

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must contact us (CALM ELEPHANT GmbH, Heronger Str. 24, 41334 Nettetal, Phone: +49 (0)2157 / 894 91 06, Email: info@calmelephant.com) by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) about your decision to withdraw from this contract. You can use the attached sample withdrawal form for this purpose, but it is not mandatory.

To maintain the cancellation period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiration of the cancellation period.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you revoke this contract, we will refund you all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a different type of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day we receive your notice of revocation of this contract. For this refund, we will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless something else has been expressly agreed with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this refund.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return the goods immediately and in any case no later than 14 days from the day you inform us of the cancellation of this contract. to return or to hand over. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiration of the period of 14 days.

We cover the costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any depreciation of the goods if this depreciation is due to handling them in a manner that is not necessary for checking their nature, characteristics, and functionality.

Exclusion or expiration reasons

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts

- for the delivery of goods that are not pre-manufactured and for whose production an individual choice or specification by the consumer is decisive or that are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer;
- for the delivery of goods that can spoil quickly or whose expiration date would be exceeded quickly;
- for the delivery of alcoholic beverages, the price of which was agreed upon at the conclusion of the contract, but which can be delivered no earlier than 30 days after the conclusion of the contract and whose current value depends on fluctuations in the market that are beyond the entrepreneur's control;
- for the delivery of newspapers, magazines, or illustrated publications, excluding subscription contracts.

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely in the case of contracts

- for the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons if their seal has been removed after delivery;
- for the delivery of goods, if they have been inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery due to their nature;
- for the delivery of audio or video recordings or computer software in a sealed package, if the seal has been removed after delivery.
